The UMEVO Note Plus uses the AI DVR Link app.

The UMEVO Note Plus requires the app and a Bluetooth connection. Bluetooth must remain enabled during pairing.

The Serial Number is a unique identifier used to identify and distinguish devices for product management, device maintenance, and warranty services.

To find the Serial Number (SN), open the UMEVO Note Plus app and enter the device settings page. The SN is displayed on this page.

NOTE recording mode applies to scenarios such as meetings, voice memos, interviews, lectures, and medical conversations. CALL recording mode is used to record a phone call.

For CALL mode, the UMEVO Note Plus needs to be attached to the back of your phone because its internal vibration conduction sensor picks up sound directly from the phone's speaker.

After your free first year of unlimited transcription on the Max Plan, you'll receive 400 free transcription minutes every month on the Starter Plan.

Starting from Year 2, if you exceed your 400 free monthly minutes, choose either a paid unlimited plan or minute packs on the Starter Plan.

No. You can also record independently when the device is not connected to the app, and save the audio locally on the device. Connect the mobile app when you need to perform AI transcription, summarization, or manage content in the app.

No. When Note Plus is connected to Windows or Mac via USB-C, it can be used as a standard removable storage device to directly drag and drop to copy original recordings; this process can be completed offline and does not require logging into the app or enabling synchronization.

There are currently no Windows/Mac desktop apps for transcription, summarization, and speaker management. Raw recordings can be managed via USB on the computer; transcribing, summarizing and sharing are still mainly done in the iOS/Android app.

No. Support has confirmed that UMEVO provides transcription, translation and summary services through its own AI interface, and users do not need to bind their personal ChatGPT paid account.

Currently, access to user-owned or third-party AI interfaces is not supported, nor can all processing be switched to the personal Claude API.

If YouTube is not accessible in your area, you can ask support for text instructions.

It is recommended to provide at one time:

1. Device model;
2. Complete SN;
3. Mobile phone model and system version;
4. AI DVR Link version;
5. Error screenshots or short videos;
6. The specific steps in which the problem occurred;
7. If it involves hardware support, then provide order information.

First confirm that the phone's Bluetooth is turned on, the device is powered on, the app has obtained Bluetooth permissions, and restart the app and device. If it still fails after multiple retries, the error screenshot, phone model, app version and complete SN should be provided for the technical team to check the binding status.

This prompt indicates that the device SN is still associated with another app account. Ordinary factory reset may not be able to unbind the server. You need to send the complete SN to support and the technical team will perform the unbinding.

Provide the complete SN of the device to support and provide proof of purchase when requested. Support can unbind the original account from the backend, and then log in again to the app and connect the device.

No need to get your old phone back. Submit the SN to support, who can unbind the original account from the backend; after receiving the completion notification, reconnect on the new phone.

This usually means the device is still bound to the original account or a different sign-in method was used. First try the original sign-in method. If you cannot identify the original account, send the complete SN to support for server-side unbinding, then reconnect the device.

For privacy, support will not disclose the email address linked to the previous account. Send the complete SN to support so the device can be unbound, then connect it using your current account.

Support can independently handle the unbinding of the device and retain or recalibrate the membership period. In order to avoid membership errors, when submitting the SN, you should also indicate the need to retain Max Plan benefits, and check the expiration date after rebinding.

If an error occurs due to password or login method when deleting the account, you can submit the device SN and let support unbind the device first. The new user can then connect to the device using their own account.

No need to connect successfully first. Open the Bluetooth device search on your phone and you can find the SN from the searched UMEVO device information; you can also view the device information saved by the package or app.

Recheck letters and numbers, paying special attention to easily confused characters such as 0/O, 1/I, etc., and send a complete screenshot without manually omitting any digits.

This is usually not a loss of recording, but an abnormality in the binding or synchronization of the device and the app. First keep the original files in the device without formatting; then provide the SN to support, complete unbinding and rebinding, and then resync.

First restart your phone, device and app, and confirm that you are logged in with the original account. If you still cannot connect, you should provide the SN to request server-side unbinding and then re-pair.

Each device SN is associated with one registered account. You can use the same phone for multiple UMEVO devices, but you must sign in to the account associated with the device you want to use.

Devices currently cannot use Bluetooth headsets as their own audio input or output devices. Its Bluetooth connection is primarily used to communicate with iOS/Android phone apps.

• If the device cannot appear in the app, prompts that the binding failed or is already bound, it is a connection/binding issue.
• If a recording is synced to the app but the transcription is stuck at 0%, takes a long time to process, or displays a Network Error, it's usually a problem with the transcription service or network.

Short press the recording button once to start recording and again to stop. Do not press and hold the recording button; current support guidance indicates that a long press may trigger a shutdown instead of stopping recording.

Currently, voice-activated automatic start/stop is not supported, and recording is controlled by physical buttons.

1. Enter recording mode on your device and record the meeting in its entirety;
2. Save the audio after the meeting;
3. Connect the device to the paired mobile app and sync files;
4. Select the target audio in the app and perform AI transcription;
5. After the transcription is completed, enter the full text page and select smart summary;
6. Select brief highlights or agenda-style meeting minutes as needed, and then export and share them.

Won't. Minutes of recording and saving files on the device are not counted; the plan credit is only involved when performing AI transcription, summarization and other processing.

Yes. Recording can be done locally on the device. Web and mobile apps are primarily used for syncing, transcribing, summarizing, and sharing.

UMEVO does not connect directly to Teams. Switch the computer audio output to the speakers, place the device next to the speakers, and record using live meeting mode.

Cannot be reliably recorded. The device relies on the microphone to pick up the sound actually played by the computer; if the other party's sound is only played in the headphones, usually only your own voice or almost no sound can be recorded.

There is currently no direct Zoom/Teams integration, nor is it possible to grab audio tracks directly from the conferencing software. The conference sound needs to be played through external speakers and then recorded on-site using equipment.

Yes. You can select "Import Audio" in the app to import existing recordings on your phone; you can also copy MP3 files that meet the requirements to the device and then transcribe them in the app.

Do not delete the original file from the device. If only the copy in the app is affected, delete that app record and sync the file again from the device. A file that contains no audio generally cannot be recovered. If the issue continues, send support the original file, the complete SN, and a short video showing the problem.

First sync the recording to AI DVR Link, open the target file in the app and click AI Text Transcription. After the transcription is completed, you can view the full text, continue to generate summaries, or share it.

Transcription must be completed first. After entering the full transcription page, select Smart Summary, and then choose a format such as Brief Points or Agenda-style Meeting Minutes.

Yes. The device can record independently, but AI transcription, summarization and in-app sharing require connection to the mobile app.

First determine the source of the file:

• If it is an externally imported file, confirm that it is an MP3 and rename it in Note-YYYYMMDDHHMMSS format;
• If the file is recorded by the device itself, update the app first and try again; if it still stops at 0%, it may be a server/CDN problem. You should provide the SN, app version and screenshots to support.

External files need to be in MP3 format and named according to Note-year, month, day, hour, minute and second, for example, Note-20260120172045. Files recorded by the device do not need to be renamed manually.

This is usually not a Bluetooth issue. Update the app first, switch to a stable network and try again later. Service-side issues such as server bandwidth, CDN or Cloudflare abnormalities have led to slow transcription, 0% lag and Network Error; if this continues to occur, you should check with support to see if there is a service failure.

Transcription and summarization may use different services, and recovery times may not be consistent. Save the original recording and transcription results, update the app and try again; if only the summary/mind map fails, submit screenshots of specific functions and SN.

Make sure the app is the latest version, the network is stable, and try to exit the app and re-enter. If the MP3 recorded by multiple devices stops at "Transcribing" for a long time, you should submit the SN and screenshots and ask support if there is a server-side failure.

First update AI DVR Link to the latest version, then enter the transcription interface of the imported audio, click Transcribe to re-initiate transcription and summarization. If it still fails, the Android version, app version, and error screenshot should be provided.

Check the following:

1. The correct primary language is selected for transcription.
2. The app is up to date.
3. The network connection is stable.
4. The recording volume, distance, and background noise are suitable.
5. The recording does not frequently switch between very different languages.

If the issue continues, provide support with a reproducible original recording, the resulting transcript, and the complete SN.

The device does not have a separate "multi-language automatic mode" switch. The primary language most commonly used for meetings should be selected in the app. It is usually easier to identify when languages that are close to each other, such as English, French, and German, are mixed; mixing languages that are very different will reduce accuracy.

Settings are not necessarily required when recording; when performing transcription and summarization, the corresponding output or main language should be manually selected in the app to improve recognition accuracy.

Support has confirmed that the mobile app supports real-time transcription, simultaneous translation and conversation translation, and the results are displayed in AI DVR Link in text form.

Not currently. Real-time translation is mainly displayed in the mobile app and does not support direct display on the PC.

No. Translation results are currently displayed as text in the official app and cannot be played directly through headphones as spoken audio.

Yes. The recommended method is to use MP3 files, copy them to the Note Plus audio directory via USB, rename them according to the specified format, and then transcribe them in the app.

Training and automatically generating speech scripts based on personal "voice and writing style" is currently not supported. Support said that the relevant capabilities were in the development plan, but did not give an official launch time.

There is currently no support for things like real-time highlighting, or taking slides in the app and automatically integrating them into transcriptions or summaries. Support said it plans to add it in a future update, but no date was promised.

Support has clearly replied that Hungarian transcription is supported.

Recent support guidance states that French is the primary language and is available on all packages.

Select the main language with the highest proportion in the meeting, and then test the actual recognition results. The more languages are mixed and the greater the language differences, the more likely accuracy will decrease.

Set the source and target languages before starting the translation. If the recognition or translation quality is not satisfactory, the source-language transcription can be completed first, and then the summary or translation can be performed.

Support recommends transcribing the original language content first, and then performing summary or translation after confirming the source text; this is easier to troubleshoot than directly translating poor-quality audio.

Connect the device and computer with a USB-C cable that supports data transmission, find the recording file in the UMEVO removable disk that appears, and then copy it to the computer.

Open the corresponding content page, click the share button in the upper right corner, select the content you want to export, and then select the target app on your phone, such as Mail or WhatsApp.

Yes. You can use the in-app sharing function to send recordings, transcribed texts, summaries or mind maps to apps such as Mail and WhatsApp installed on your phone.

This issue can be caused by app version defects. Update the app first; if the app store only displays "Open", you can delete the app, reinstall it, log in, and then test the sharing function.

First confirm the version on the app store page. If you still suspect that the update has not taken effect, delete AI DVR Link, reinstall it from the app store, and then log in to the original account.

Connect the device to your computer and open the AUDIO folder in the root of the UMEVO removable drive. Copy the MP3 into that folder, safely eject the device, and refresh the audio list in the app.

Use Note-YYYYMMDDHHMMSS format, for example Note-20260120172045. When the naming does not meet the requirements, the app may not be recognized or the transcription may remain at 0%.

Support has confirmed that as long as the account and membership status are normal, the device's local recordings and in-app content can be retained for a long time. However, important content should still be exported and backed up regularly, and apps cannot be used as the only archive.

Yes. Note Plus includes free unlimited transcription on the Max Plan for the first year.

Not included. Support clearly replied that the first-year free Max Plan benefit is currently only applicable to Note Plus, and SL Note does not enjoy the same one-year free unlimited transcription offer.

Recent support guidance states that the two functions are the same, and the main difference is the number of languages supported: Pro supports fewer languages, and Max supports more languages.

Yes. The 400-minute credit only affects new auto-transcriptions; recording, saving files to your device, and syncing and saving recordings will continue to work.

Recent support guidance states that the unlimited package includes AI transcription, meeting summaries, and mind mapping.

Provide support with the complete SN, purchase or activation date, and a screenshot of the membership page. The technical team can reset the membership validity period; after completion, log out of the account and log in again to check.

Log out of the AI DVR Link account and log in again, then reconnect the device to refresh the membership benefits. If it is still not updated, send a screenshot of the new membership page to support.

1. Replace reliable power adapter and data cable;
2. Use the data cable to connect the device to the computer;
3. Even if the screen is off, observe whether the computer recognizes the new disk;
4. Record a video of the charging process and submit it to support.

If the computer can recognize the disk but the screen does not light up, it may be a screen failure; if it cannot be recognized at all, there may be a problem with the cable or device hardware.

Try a reliable power adapter and a USB-C cable that supports data transfer, then connect the device to a computer to see whether a removable drive appears. If there is still no response, send support your order information, complete SN, and a charging video so the team can determine whether replacement is required.

Record a clear video showing a short press of the recording button and send it with the complete SN to support. This may indicate a faulty button or internal contact and may require hardware service.

This may be a hardware failure. Keep problem videos and engineering inspection records, and submit SN to support; after confirming hardware defects, the replacement and fault tracking process is usually entered.

Take a video of the complete error page and operation first, and do not repeatedly format or delete recordings that have not been backed up. Support will determine whether it is a memory or system failure based on the evidence.

No. Copying recordings requires a USB-C cable that supports data transfer. If the device charges but no removable drive appears on the computer, replace the cable with a data-capable USB-C cable.

Support responded that the included protective case was not genuine leather, but vegan faux leather.

Yes, but the thickness and magnetic construction of the phone case can affect how securely Note Plus attaches. Test the magnetic hold with your phone case before relying on it during a recording.

Provide order information and unpacking photos to support, who will check the accessories included in the batch and arrange processing.

Original audio files are stored locally on the device. UMEVO does not currently provide traditional cloud-drive storage for original recordings.

UMEVO does not currently provide cloud backup or cloud-drive storage. Back up important files regularly using USB transfer or the sharing options in the app.

Yes. Note Plus connects to iOS and Android phones over Bluetooth. AI transcription and summaries are handled primarily in the mobile app.

Yes. Note Plus can record independently and copy original MP3 files to a computer over USB without an account, the app, transcription, or other online AI features.

It is recommended to confirm:

1. Whether the target language is in the current app and package;
2. Whether a computer desktop app is required;
3. Whether direct Zoom/Teams integration is required;
4. Whether you often use headphones to talk;
5. Number of transcription minutes required and current price for the second year;
