A recording preserves a conversation. What happens next is what makes it useful: finding a detail, understanding the main points, and bringing those notes into your everyday work.
The new UMEVO App brings that workflow together. It connects your recordings with AI-generated transcripts, summaries, and mind maps, then gives you ways to review, export, and sync the results. Whether you are following up on a meeting, revisiting an interview, or organizing study material, the aim is simple: spend less time working through audio and more time using what you learned.
Start with your recordings
Your recording library is the starting point. Open a file to play back the audio and begin turning it into written notes. Keeping the source recording alongside the generated content makes it easier to return to the original conversation when a detail matters.
For UMEVO Note One users, the App also connects the recorder to the rest of the workflow. After initial activation, Note One can record independently, with the original audio stored on the device. Transfer it to your phone when you are ready.
Note One uses a direct device-to-phone Wi-Fi connection for transfer. You do not need a router, an existing Wi-Fi network, an internet connection, or a data cable for that transfer. AI processing is a separate step and requires internet access.

Turn audio into transcripts and summaries together
In the UMEVO App, transcription and summary generation happen together. Rather than using a separate transcription-only button, you start generation for the recording and receive the transcript and summary as part of the same process.
Auto Generate offers a straightforward starting point without manual setup. Once the results are ready, use the Source view to review the transcript and the Note view to read the generated summary. Speaker recognition helps distinguish voices in multi-person conversations, making the written record easier to follow.
These views serve different purposes. The transcript helps you revisit the conversation in detail; the summary helps you get back to its main ideas. Before sharing important decisions or quotations, check the generated notes against the original audio.

See the structure with mind maps
Some conversations are easier to understand visually. Mind maps provide another way to review the ideas in a recording, showing how topics and supporting points connect.
Use a summary for a quick written overview, then switch to a mind map when you want to explore the structure of a discussion or revisit a lesson. It is a different view of the same material, alongside the transcript and source recording—not a replacement for them.
Export notes into your everyday workflow
The work does not have to stay inside the App. Export the format that fits what you need to do next:
- Original audio: MP3 or WAV.
- Transcripts and summaries: TXT, SRT, DOCX, or PDF.
- Mind maps: JPEG or Markdown.
That means you can keep an audio copy, bring written notes into a document, or save a mind map for later reference. Choose the content and format you need instead of rebuilding your notes by hand in another tool.
Continue on a larger screen with UMEVO Web
Private Cloud Sync connects your mobile workflow with UMEVO Web, the browser-based service for working with your synced content on a computer. It can sync original audio, transcripts, summaries, and mind maps between the App and Web.
The App is convenient when you are moving between conversations. UMEVO Web gives you another place to review the material when you are back at your desk. Open UMEVO Web in your computer's browser to continue reviewing your synced content.

Keep control of cloud synchronization
Cloud sync is a setting you can manage. Turning it off stops future synchronization but does not remove content that has already been synced. You can still upload a recording for AI processing with cloud sync disabled.
If you want to remove cloud copies, use Delete Cloud Recordings. This does not simultaneously delete the copies on your phone. Keeping these actions separate helps you choose whether to stop syncing, remove cloud content, or retain your local files.
A connected workflow, from audio to useful notes
The new UMEVO App brings the steps after recording into one connected experience: review your audio, generate a transcript and summary, explore a mind map, and export the result. With optional cloud sync and UMEVO Web, you can continue reviewing your material beyond your phone.
For your next meeting, interview, or study session, start with the conversation. Then turn the recording into notes you can return to and use.
